I am Ximena Arias and I love to take introspective trips through drawing.

I am an Illustrator and Graphic designer based in Bogotá – Colombia.

My work has been exhibited in Colombia, Germany, Portugal, Russia, and Perú.

Through my work, I intend to portray universes where the real and the unreal come together to give form to what usually dwells inside of us. I try to find answers to what constantly wanders inside the mind and make sense of it through imagery.

As an illustrator, I have worked on film poster design, music art covers for clients from France, the United Kingdom, South Korea and the United States, as well as editorial projects for publishing houses from Colombia and China. My illustration process includes pencil and charcoal, ballpoint pen or ink drawing on paper, and digital coloring.

Clients include: Panamericana Editorial, Revista Bacánika, El Salmón Editores, Revista Bienestar Colsanitas, Revista El Malpensante, China South Booky Culture Media Co.
